Brought to you by Julie Mead of e-scapeandscrap.com! (Tell us what you think…please leave a comment below! Thanks!)
I can’t believe I finally did it! I have been wanting to create a series of video workshops for our customers showing some fun ways to use the Lucky 7 collaborative kit in an art journal. I am very excited to get this project going so join me this month as I share some ways you can create pages for your own art journal/scrapbook.
Lucky 7 Art Journal Workshop Supply List
(this is only a partial list but this will get you started for the first workshop.)
- 1 journal book of your choice (Be sure to choose a heavy weight paper such as 98 lb. or higher. If you cannot find a heavy weight paper you can always glue pages together to add stability.)
- Gel Medium such as Golden Gel Medium – Regular (or soft) Gel (Matte or Gloss)
- or Mod Podge
- Assorted brushes
- Spray bottle
- Printer paper and printer (I use a jet ink printer)
- Premium Presentation Matte Paper (Epson makes a nice 8.5 x 11? paper and also 12×12? matte paper. I also like matte paper from Hawk Mountain Paper Company.
- Traditional scrapbook embellishments
I have divided up the sessions into smaller chunks - that way if you ever need to review a segment or want to watch something again it will be easy for you to locate it.
Part 1 – Using digital stamps for an image transfer
Part 2 – Stencils and rub ons
Part 3 – Adding embellishments and finishing the project
