Adorable Acrylic Album You’re Gonna Love!

When I received this album from Page Frame Designs I was ecstatic at the challenge of making it into a hybrid project. My sister’s crew made the best subjects for this project!

For the cover I used Graphix Rub-Onz Transfer Film and printed Tinkering Inks digital paper on it according to the papers instructions. After letting the film dry I then adhered a portion of the paper to the inside cover. I then rubbed off a portion of two sides of the film to give it a worn look.

Also to the front lower right corner I printed a saying on inkjet transparency and backed with cardstock to then adhere to the cover with eyelets.

The first page I also printed journaling and a decorative scroll on an inkjet transparency then backed with cardstock and adhered using eyelets.

For the additional pages, using Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0, I added digital word art to each photo prior to printing them. All of the photos were also portrait style.

For this album I used all 4×6 photos with white boarders mounted on 4.5” x 6.5” WorldWin Papers Belgium Blue DoubleMates cardstock. The DoubleMates worked because of the lighter blue side and the dark blue side, I was able to easily alternate the colors.

On the back inside page I still used a 4.5” x 6.5” matt but used a smaller horizontal photo with another slice of journaling on inkjet transparency.

After all of the photos and mattings were adhered back to back centered on each page I then added the groupings of Prima flowers and buttons sporadically throughout the pages. I stacked them in a way that they were not on top of one another but created a beautiful bouquet all the way through the album.

To complete the album I added adhesive gem strips on each tab in alternating colors of blue and white. I then added the book rings and tied dark blue and light blue ribbons on each ring.
