Hi Everyone: What extreme Christmas tradition do you have? Mine is my neighbor, he has over 100.000.00 lights all over the yard coordinated with music. Every year his house makes it on TV and was invited at Disney as well.
But all that comes at a price to my family, the loud noise of the music every single day from Nov 10 to Jan 6 doesn't stopped stop until 1 am to 1.30 am... The worse part is my bedroom is on the side of his side lawn where Santa's workshop is..
But all the kids loves it in the neighborhood and loads of people come by to see his decorations.
Thank God he only does this for Xmas and not other Holidays:) Maggie

Hi Everybody: I'm so excited by the release party chat on Monday at dragonflairestudios, that I got all my Xmas items out, ready to put up... My favorite tradition is my DD and I put all the Nutcrakers up and arrange them on the hallway table. This year we decided to put up miniature trees instead of a large one. She has elected to put one in the kitchen not sure how that's gone work.. Bathroom, living room and 2 trees in her room Do you put your tree up b4 or after thanksgiving? I put mine up b4 thanksgiving so the family has a chance to see it and also take pics.. Maggie

Omgosh : I was in Kyoto 6 years ago in the spring. It was so beautiful all the blossoms in bloom.. Unfortunately it triggered allergies, I walk around sneezing and with swollen eyes. The beauty was worth the pain.. Unfortunately I have no pics, couldn't see well enough for them.. Maggie

Hi Everyone: I am so mad right now, no shows has ever got my blood boiled like this one tonite.. Why isn't Marie and Jane voted off... Sabrina was the best outside of Mel... Why, why??? I'm so ticked I voted 15 times for her, that's just prove this is a popularity contest not a talent contest. I dpn't understand why she was voted off...
GRRRRRRR Maggie

Scrapbooking / MISC - NOT SCRAPBOOK RELATED / Those of us who don't celebrate Holloween

Hi Everyone: For those of us who don't celebrate Holloween, what do you do that day with the Children? Growing up in several countries it was a day where you go to church and remember those love ones that have gone. We were shocked when we move to the states and wasn't aware what Holloween was until one night, people dressed in costumes ring our bell. My parents thought they were trying to rob us, until the neighbor explained to us what is was. Now it sounds funny, but at the time I remember my dad yelling to go under the bed and not come out.. It was a traumatic experience that we are able to laugh about now.. I plan on going to the cemetery and church, then come home and have pumpkin soup and a large dinner with family it also happens to be my mother's Birthday... Maggie
