Scrapbook Dimensions’ focus is … thinking outside the ‘book’…
We are looking for articles and projects that utilize any scrapbooking supplies and/or techniques for decorating, crafting and, of course, scrapbooking! … AND we are also looking for anything originally thought of as ‘non-scrapbooking materials and techniques’ that can be used for scrapbooking. The door is wide open here. See how much fun this is!!
Here are a few guidelines for you to follow:
- You must have your own blog website and write your own original content/tutorials.
- All material must be relevant to the readers here at Scrapbook Dimensions.
- We only publish new content, not previously published articles from elsewhere online. This is because search engines are not happy about duplicate online content. You can take a previously published article/tutorial and alter it so it looks fresh. (For example, if you published a certain tutorial, you can redo the tutorial with a new project. Same technique, but new, inspiring project.) Any questions, please email me.
- We reserve the right to edit your article - to ensure that there are no typographical errors and to maintain formatting structure.
- Please be sure that you are committed to follow through and meet any necessary deadlines.
- Images are a must. Our readers are very visual. If you are writing a tutorial, please include step-by-step photos. Submit your post in word doc or text format showing where the images are to go. Then send images separately in high resolution. (The reason for that is in case your project/article is chosen to be printed in one of our ‘real books’! Yep, that’s right!)
Important: Images must be yours or you have rights to publish them. - Please include an author bio of you and your blog, a head-shot photo of yourself, and any links we can use to promote you.
- We have the right to reject any submissions sent to us.
- If you have previously written a guest post for Scrapbook Dimensions, we would love to spotlight you again!
