My name is Kelly Bowser. I live in Michigan. I have been married just over a year. I started scrapbooking about 12 years ago with my mom. I have not done any hybrid scrapbooking but would love to toy around with it. We have a miniature pinscher and no children yet. Music is a huge passion of mine. I also enjoy reading, scrapbooking, making crafts/cards, working out, being active in my church, playing video games with my husband, and being outdoors. I work full-time, run my own business part-time and go to school part-time.

I'm a stay-at-home mom and my son and daughter are the complete center of my world, much to my husband's dismay.  I stumbled across digital scrapbooking about a year ago and it is the perfect fit for me. I'm HOOKED!! I love the creative process and developing on the computer.

I love to collect cute paper and elements but when it really comes down to it, I have a hard time deciding what is just right for my page. I was totally stuck for a while, fumbling with Photoshop Elements, but when I found Patty Debowski's book, I realized how easy it is to actually make a page. I'm a huge fan of Patty and these templates are just right for me. All you have to do is select a picture and drop it in. I already have an idea to use them in a photobook for my Mom's birthday.  Thank you so much!!!

I'm a SAHM in Illinois with a supportive Husband and a brilliant Son (5 1/2 year old) who loves all things related to Dinosaurs!   I've been making digital cards since I started scrapping nearly 6 years ago.  I love adding digital elements to my cards and scrapbook pages because they add wonderful dimension to my crafts and allow me to add my unique stamp to each project.  Recently, I've been exploring digital layouts so that I can maximize my scrapbooking dollars and use elements more then once.  I love making handmade pieces because they offer  depth and dimensions on my pages.  I use (clay, acrylic, paint, ink, wire, rhinestones, chipboard and metals),   combined with my digital elements to give them a since of realism.

Winners for Bits of Ivory!

Tina Sparks

Columbus, Ohio, USA

I am a full-time working Mother of 4 children, Sean 22, Andrea 18, Kyle and Kaitlin 15 and a new Grandmother to 3-week old Angela.  I was a Cub Scout / Boy Scout Assistant Den Helper when my oldest son was young and a Girl Scout Co-Leader for several years with my Girls.  Crafting has been a way for me to express myself since I was a child and to teach my children when they were younger.  The natural progression for me has been to Scrapbooking.  I have been scrapbooking for well over ten years.  As I think back on it now, I was digital scrapbooking before it was popular.  I created several pages of my oldest Daughter with her 5th Grade Teachers in PowerPoint, complete with digital embellishments and journaling. When she graduated from Elementary School, I gave copies of each page to her teachers as a gift.  I liked it so well that I created many more layouts of events and Birthdays.

I find both forms of Scrapbooking very relaxing and a good outlet for my creativeness.  It gives me the opportunity to use many mediums and techniques to be creative while documenting the lives of my Family.  Certainly a win, win situation for a busy working Mom.

Marilynne Wasielewski
Tampa Bay, Florida, USA

Hello, I’m known around the digital scrapping world as Scrappy Diva. Marilynne is my given name and I live in Tampa Bay, Florida. I am an artist, who paints in watercolors and acrylics. I also make silver jewelry and do beading. I work full-time teaching High School English and spend lots of my spare time with family, traveling, taking photos and creating scrapbook albums. Currently, I work on four Creative Teams for wonderful designers Kimberly Stewart, Rina Kroes, Julie Kelly (Scrapbook-Elements) and Alma Townsend (TheScrapHabit).

Thank you so much to Bits of Ivory for this lovely printable gift. It gives me a reason to now move into hybrid scrapping, which seems to be so popular lately. I’ve done paper scrapping and digi-scrapping for more than five years. Now, I have a great reason to combine both and create some lovely projects that can be used for gifts or personal use.

Doris Gould
Florida, USA

I am a 66 year old semi retired Hospice Nurse.  We are a blended family with five grown children and 4 grandkids ages 9-15.  Most of my scrapping is of the grandkids.  I was never a paper scrapper, but started with making all of my own greeting cards using family pictures and scrapping just grew from that.  I stumbled upon Doris Castle's name in a magazine, to find she lives one town from me. Having the same first names, we got together, and she helped me delve into Photoshop.  From then on it has just been fun, fun, fun !

Just love your magazine... wish it could come out every week !

I work in a very large and well known hospital as an Administrative Secretary and most of my spare time is spent either scrapping or card making, which I love!

I also spend time working with the Women's Ministry and Bible Study at our church.  I am the photographer for our Women's Ministry events and create digital scrapbooks for them on DVD's.

At home I am the "mom" of 3 cats and 3 dogs, my favorite scrapping subjects!  They never complain about all the pictures I take!
