Isn’t it interesting when you have something on your mind (such as “Clean My Office” day) that things just pop up that relate.
I just ran across this from Clutter Busting by Brooks Palmer: “Happiness is not an object. It is a subjective state. It is not dependent on things….I was told by my college art instructors that it’s important to have a clean work surface so your mind is clear to create great art. I had never thought of that. I tried it and found that when my art space was clean, it was easy to access unlimited creativity — I wasn’t distracted. It felt good.”
