Fayette Designs: I have been a “doodler” all of my life. From volunteering for any art projects in school, to painting the windows in my parents’ home for the holidays…I’ve always dabbled in art. My love of art became less of a hobby and more of a career when I fell in love with tole painting. I began designing and publishing my original tole painting patterns in 1992. Even though my first love was painting, my move into the scrapbooking world was a natural one. My publisher invited several designers to produce a line of papers and stickers…that was in 1996. Since then, I’ve been fortunate enough to design porcelain and resin figurines, pewter designs, counted cross-stitch patterns, stamps, and clipart cd’s. It’s been exciting, and very fulfilling to make a living doing something that I love so much.

Although I rarely design anything with a paint brush in my hand anymore, I still love the entire design process. I love working on the computer with the graphics programs, learning new things, and seeing just what interesting designs I can come up with.

I recently purchased the website, Pickleberrypop, lol, as if I wasn’t busy enough with my design work! I have learned so much and have loved getting to know the 25 designers on the team there!

I live in a small town in Northern Utah with my husband Kees. We have two daughters, one son and six adorable grandkids – they are the loves of our lives. We love the outdoors, traveling and just spending time with our family.

Dancing Princess Designs: Jenn Camargo is the busy mom to seven (not a typo) kids, which means lots of moments to scrap of her 6 daughters and baby son. She loves creating beautiful things and began scrapping 18 years ago, just before her oldest daughter was born. She admits that at one time she was a Paper Scrapbooking Snob, and truly believed that there was no artistry in digital scrapbooking. Her sweet hubby changed her mind by giving her a digital design book for Christmas four years ago. Three months later, when Jenn got around to opening the book, it took a very short time for her to be hooked, and realize the true potential in digital creations. She has seen the light and been designing ever since.

Hi! I’m Lindsay. Scrapbooking has been my passion since 2007. It all started when I was browsing in my local library and saw a book on digital scrapbooking. This gave me the incentive to conquer Photoshop and I have been scrapping and designing ever since.

As well as the challenge of working with different colors and swatches, I create unique elements in all my kits. I still have many ideas for kits that I have not had a chance to develop yet. In fact, I like doing anything where I can be creative.

Some of my other hobbies include photography, producing slide shows, and editing home movies with effects and music. I have plenty of material to work with as my husband and I have three teenage sons who keep us very busy with their sporting activities.

I created this wallpaper from the “Just Earthy” Kit designed by Weeds and Wildflowers Design. This beautiful kit is available only at ScrapbookDimensions.com. When I was trying to choose which photo to put into this wallpaper, I just couldn’t decide…so I decided to make it an animated wallpaper. I just used Photoshop to make an animated gif. However, there are many other programs that you can use to make animated gifs. This works fine as an animated wallpaper if you have Windows XP. However, now I have Windows 7 and found that they took out the animated gif feature for the wallpaper. No problem, though. I just created several jpg copies of the wallpaper, each with a different photo. Then I right clicked on my desktop, clicked on Personalize and chose the folder I put those jpgs in. With all of them selected, I could also choose the amount of time each photo showed up. Here I chose 10 seconds. Now I have a fun wallpaper that changes the photo. LOVE IT!

(PS: I also left the image in the 2nd smaller frame as a separate layer, so you can hide or delete it and use that frame for a 2nd photo! Smart, huh!)
