Hi I’m Nancie and I’m mom to daughter, Ellie, who is often the subject of my scrapbooks. I have an incredibly understanding and patient husband named John, who also keeps me in stitches on a daily basis. I am happiest when I’m creating — whether it’s designing a scrapbook paper, creating a digital collage or cooking a favorite recipe. IIn addition to designing digital products for JessicaSprague.com, I am a paper designer for Fancy Pants and I also create greetings and photo albums for Smilebox. My name is Shen Guthrie, aka creashens. I am a designer by day as a corporate graphic designer, designer by night of scrapbook supplies, but ultimately, I’m a mother 24/7.  If I’m not designing, I’m either thinking about it or enjoying time with my daughter. We do everything together, as my world revolves around her.

I live in Southern California with my 5-year-old daughter Kalea, hubby of 10 years this July, and Dorothy, a fish Kalea won at the fair last summer. I’ve been a digital scrapbook designer at CatScrap since 2007 and have printed creatives with MME. I enjoy photography, creative/craft time with Kalea at home and local scrapbook shops, Audrey Hepburn movies, and rainy days.
