</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">I printed the card on 8-1/2&#8243; x 11&#8243; Presentation paper (or matte Brochure paper).  After printing, just cut the paper in half both ways, so that the cards are each 4.25&#8243; x 5.5&#8243;.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://scrapbookdimensions.com/online/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/SDMag_GiftTagChristmasCard_web.jpg" rel="shadowbox[sbpost-3722];player=img;"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-3714" style="border: 1px solid black;" title="SDMag_GiftTagChristmasCard_web" src="http://scrapbookdimensions.com/online/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/SDMag_GiftTagChristmasCard_web.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="518" /></a></p>

<p style="text-align: left;"><strong><span style="color: #bc4253;"><span style="background-color: #ffffff;"><br />
 </span></span></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://scrapbookdimensions.com/online/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/2-MetallicPen_web.jpg" rel="shadowbox[sbpost-3722];player=img;"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-3706" style="border: 1px solid black; padding: 4px;" title="2-MetallicPen_web" src="http://scrapbookdimensions.com/online/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/2-MetallicPen_web.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="509" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>Step 3:</strong></span> Embellish with glitter glue.  I used red and gold glitter glue by RoseArt.  Just squeeze a little dot where desired.  For the star on top, I placed a drop of gold glitter glue.  Then I used a pin to drag out the glitter to match up with the star at the top of the tree (as shown below).</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://scrapbookdimensions.com/online/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/3-GlitterGlue_web.jpg" rel="shadowbox[sbpost-3722];player=img;"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-3707" style="border: 1px solid black; padding: 4px;" title="3-GlitterGlue_web" src="http://scrapbookdimensions.com/online/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/3-GlitterGlue_web.jpg" alt="" width="413" height="600" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>Step 4: </strong></span> I used gold metallic pearl cardstock.  You can use any solid cardstock that coordinates with your card.  Cut the 8-1/2&#8243;x11&#8243; paper in half and then in half again so you end up with four pieces that measure 4.25&#8243; x 5.5&#8243;.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://scrapbookdimensions.com/online/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/4-MetallicCard_web.jpg" rel="shadowbox[sbpost-3722];player=img;"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-3708" style="border: 1px solid black; padding: 4px;" title="4-MetallicCard_web" src="http://scrapbookdimensions.com/online/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/4-MetallicCard_web.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="406" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>Step 5:</strong></span> In order to properly layer the card pieces as shown below, trim off 1/8 inch off each side of the gold paper.  On the printed card, trim 1/4 inch off each side.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>Step 6:</strong></span> Adhere the printed card to the gold paper.  You can use as is for a gift tag!  Otherwise, adhere to a folded half sheet of white cardstock.  (I cut a sheet of white cardstock in half.  Then I used my ScorePal to score the center so that it would fold nicely.)</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>Gift Idea:</strong></span> Make several and give as a set!  Beautiful!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://scrapbookdimensions.com/online/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/6-FinishedCardandTag_web.jpg" rel="shadowbox[sbpost-3722];player=img;"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-3755" style="border: 1px solid black; padding: 4px;" title="6-FinishedCardandTag_web" src="http://scrapbookdimensions.com/online/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/6-FinishedCardandTag_web.jpg" alt="" width="538" height="600" /></a></p>

<p style="text-align: left;">I had so much fun taping the show at Scrapbook Memories TV back in 2008.  Everyone was so friendly and I really enjoyed meeting the other ladies who were there taping for shows throughout the week.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Below are the instructions for making the Simple Pleasures Card that I demonstrated on the show.  I hope you enjoy this printable card.  It&#8217;s very easy to make.  You can assemble several so that you have them ready to use at any time.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
</td>
<td></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td colspan="2">Make sure you are logged in to download the printable card here.  Please <a href="http://scrapbookdimensions.com/member/login.php?amember_redirect_url=http%3A%2F%2Fscrapbookdimensions.com%2Fonline%2Fcategory%2Fdownloads%2Fdownloads-project-downloads%2Ffeed">login</a> or register to view this content.</td>
<td></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td colspan="2">
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://scrapbookdimensions.com/online/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/simple-pleasures-card_web.jpg" rel="shadowbox[sbpost-3682];player=img;"><img class="aligncenter" style="border: 1px solid gray; padding: 4px;" title="Simple Pleasures Card" src="http://scrapbookdimensions.com/online/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/simple-pleasures-card_web.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="448" /><br />
</a></p>
</td>
<td valign="top"></td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>INSTRUCTIONS:</strong></span></p>
<p>Print out the jpg file.  You can open it in a graphics program (such as Photoshop Elements), preview it in a program such as Windows Picture and Fax Viewer in order to print it, or insert the picture into a Word file. Then print it out.</p>
<p>Cut out the card which measures 5-3/8&#8243; wide x 4-1/4&#8243; high.  Cut a piece of cardstock in half to 8-1/2&#8243; x 5-1/2&#8243;.  Then fold one of those pieces in half.  Adhere the printed card to the front of the folded card.</p>
<p>At this point you can embellish as desired.  I glued some blue jewels to the center of each flower.  It&#8217;s amazing how just a little embellishment makes the entire card look dimensional.</p>
<p>This is a very easy way to make a complete set of cards so that you have them ready to use right when you need them.</p>

<p>From family vacations to nearby landmarks, across country or abroad, it’s the season to travel.  This is a handy little journal with its pages and pockets acts as a catch-all for your notes, maps, tickets, postcards and other little collectables and ephemera.  Lined pages give you space for any notes you want to take in the moment, while patterned pages save space to add photo or postcard illustrations for your notes afterward.  Whether you plan to keep everything together in this pretty little book, or just use it while you travel to collect things for your future scrapbooking projects, you’ll love the combination of style and function!</p>
